Where are the lowest gas prices in Clear Lake this week?

Gasoline prices in and around the Clear Lake area have declined once again, though not as much as the average for Houston.

Users of the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com have recently reported the rates for 83 gasoline stations in and around Clear Lake, Dickinson, Friendswood, Kemah, League City, Nassau Bay and Webster. Based on these rates, the average gasoline price for the Clear Lake area was $3.170 per gallon, as of Oct. 3. The Clear Lake area average was less expensive compared to the Texas ($3.198) and national ($3.449) averages, while less than a cent higher than the Houston average ($3.163).

Last week's average for the Clear Lake area was $3.202 per gallon.

The most inexpensive gasoline station in the Clear Lake area was said to be Chevron at 1651 FM 528 and Friendswood Lakes Boulevard in Friendswood. Gasbuddy.com users have reported that this station was offering $3.05 per gallon of regular unleaded gasoline.

The most expensive gasoline price was reported to be sold by Shell, 1910 NASA Parkway and Upper Bay Road in Nassau Bay. Users have identified this station to have offered a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline at $3.52. This gasoline station has been offering the highest gasoline price in the area for four consecutive weeks.
