Bay Area Bluegrass to offer shows, jams in League City
The Bay Area Bluegrass Association (BABA) will hold its free bluegrass music show and jam session on Saturday, Sept. 17.
Playing at the show is the Buddy & Tina Wright Group, along with the Brazos River Pickers. The stage bands begin playing at 7 p.m., but pickers are welcome to bring their instruments and come earlier to jam. Three jam rooms are available, including a slow jam for beginners. The BABA kitchen will sell inexpensive food and beverages at the show. No alcohol will be permitted. Bluegrass merchandise will be for sale, and there will also be door prizes and raffles. The monthly show and jamming are free and are held at the Johnny Arolfo Civic Center, located at 300 W. Walker in League City. For more information, visit www.bayareabluegrass.org.Related Stories
