Will Lizzie ever get a chance to live in a home?

Please HELP! Lizzie has been here at the Shelter for OVER 4 MONTHS!
This is a small City Animal Control Shelter, with small cages for the cats, and the City cannot hold all these unclaimed strays indefinitely. If pet-loving folks in our community don't choose to adopt our cats, the Shelter staff have to make room somehow. :-( HURRY OUT to rescue this LOVELY KITTY, soon!
Lizze is a gorgeous mitted Tortoiseshell-Calico mix! Her coloring is like an expressionist painting! She has a cute owl face, and big green eyes. Full-grown, she is a good-sized gal. Lizzie is nervous at first around new kitties, so she needs a slow introduction to the resident pets in her new home.
Lizzie likes to be petted and scratched, but she is not a cuddler. She's not a lap cat here, but in a less-hectic environment (with fewer cats!) like in a new loving home, she might be.
HURRY OUT to meet her, and find out more about her for yourself! Lizzie is spayed.
Remember, the League City Animal Shelter is open late three days a week (Tues - Thurs until 6 pm), for your "adopting convenience"! We are also open Fri & Sat until 5 pm.
