Friendswood still moving forward

After last week's changing of the opponent from Wheatley to Waltrip the day before the area game Friendswood is locked in on Beaumont Central in a rematch of one of last year's great games.
Friendswood (9-3) handled Waltrip 46-2 in the area round and meets Central (9-3) on Saturday at Deer Park with the winner going to the state quarterfinals against Dawson or Crosby.
The Mustangs edged Central 20-19 in last year's state quarterfinals, and it's a game both schools remember very well.
