League City Police Department blotter, Aug. 31
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between Aug. 28 and Aug. 31:
THEFT
Aug. 29: Personal items were reportedly stolen from an apartment located in the 900 block of W FM 517.
Aug. 29: A suspect reportedly broke into a residence located in the 1600 block of Third Street, but nothing was taken.
Aug. 29: A Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun was reportedly stolen from a residence located in the 100 block of Water Oak Drive.
Aug. 29: A purse snatching reportedly occurred in a Wal-Mart parking lot. The victim says the perpetrator, a black male, fled the scene in a silver passenger car.
Aug. 30: Several credit cards were reportedly stolen from an unlocked Ford Escape parked in the 1100 block of Big League Dreams Parkway.
