Clear Lake homeowners association sued over damaged condo
A Clear Lake resident is suing her homeowners association over claims its attempt to repair her home’s foundation resulted in cracked walls and doors.
Rosilyn Driver filed a lawsuit on Aug. 26 in Harris County District Court against The Cloisters Homeowners Association, citing breach of contract.
Driver says the interior of her condominium, located in the 2000 block of Fairwind in Clear Lake, was damaged when the Cloisters HOA attempted to repair its foundation. According to the brief, Driver notified the association about the damage to her condominium, but it has yet to repair the cracked walls, cracked tiles and cracked doorframes.
Driver is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Pasadena attorney Michael West.
