HS Football: Lamar routs Clear Brook
On the opening day of the season, Lamar destroyed Clear Brook 58-14 in high school football action Friday.
Now 1-0, the Redskins scored at least two touchdowns in every quarter.
Lamar quarterback Darrell Colbert went 9-15, passing for 204 yards and five touchdowns. Receivers Beau Wells and Carrington Thompson both caught three passes and scored two TDs.
Lamar will visit Elkins at 7 p.m. on Friday.
The Wolverines, now 0-1, couldn't muster much against the Redskins D. Dominique Holmes was limited to just 65 yards in the air.
Clear Brook will next visit Conroe at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
