HS Football Preview: Clear Creek vs. Memorial
On the opening day of the season, Clear Creek visits Pasadena Memorial in high school football action on Saturday.
The Wildcats finished last season at 9-4 and 4-3 in district play.
Running back Colby Davis and DB Brandon Martin are players to watch.
After Saturday's contest, Clear Creek will host Kingwood on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
The Mavericks finished last season at 6-5 and 4-1 in district play.
Running back Nick Hernandez will take over for the injured Thaddeus Stewart and is expected to carry the load.
Following Saturday's game, Memorial will host Clements on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7 p.m.
Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
