HS Football Preview: Clear Springs vs. Dawson
On the opening day of the season, District 24-5A rivals Clear Springs and Dawson will visit in high school football action on Friday.
The Wildcats finished last season at 8-3 and 6-1 in district play.
After Friday's contest, Clear Springs will host Bryan on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m.
The Oilers finished last season 16-0 and 7-0 in district play, on their way to becoming Class 5A Div. I state champions.
Running back Jackie Robinson should be a key player for the squad as it looks to repeat.
Following Friday's game, Dawson will visit Oak Ridge on Friday, Sept. 2 at 7:30 p.m.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
