Clear Lake rental equipment business accuses client of contract breach

A rental equipment business is suing over claims a client failed to pay over $84,000 in rental charges.

Dynamic Rental Systems, of Clear Lake, filed a lawsuit on Aug. 24 in Harris County District Court against Urbanovsky Advanced Construction and Rick Urbanovsky, citing breach of contract, unjust enrichment and breach of guaranty agreement.

Dynamic Rental Systems says earlier this year, it agreed to rent equipment, including an open top box, to Urbanovsky Advanced Construction in exchange for $84,455.12. According to the brief, Urbanovsky breached their agreement by refusing to pay the past due rental fees as promised.

Dynamic Rental Systems is seeking damages, attorney’s fees and court costs. It is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Dick Gregg Jr.
