Friendswood preschool donates food, supplies to pet shelter
Preschool students from the Primrose School of Friendswood recently donated food and supplies for the Bay Area Pet Adoptions Agency.
Ms. Znoj’s pre-kindergarten class collected the most pet food donations during a competition between classrooms for their “Food for Precious Pets” program. More than 1,000 pounds of pet food and multiple supplies were gathered.
At the end of July, the school held a “Pet Party” where students were invited to bring their animals to the school and participate in games such as “Bobbing for Bones” and contests like “Worst Breath” and “Best Dressed.”
Primrose’s “Food for Precious Pets” and other character development programs teach young students about caring and giving and they are a key part of Primrose Schools’ exclusive “Balanced Learning” curriculum.
Primrose School of Friendswood is a private preschool educating students from six weeks of age through kindergarten with an after-school program for public school students.
