League City Police Department blotter, Aug. 1

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between July 31 and the early morning hours of Aug. 1:

BURGLARY
July 31, 6 a.m.: A man reported a stereo system as stolen from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Booth Bay Court in the South Shore Lakes subdivision.

July 31, 8:30 a.m.: A man reported a car stereo and other property as stolen from a vehicle parked in the 400 block of Desert Willow Drive. Police say a window was broken to gain access.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
July 31, 11:30 p.m.: A woman reported a known person broke the mirror on her vehicle and then assaulted her during an argument in the 2100 block of Goldfinch Lane.

DRUGS
July 31, 11:14 a.m.: Ricardo Romero, 24, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 1400 block of East Main Street.

HIT AND RUN
July 31, 9:01 p.m.: Melchor Murillow, 26, was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to stop and give information in the 1700 block of Oak Valley Drive. He is accused of being intoxicated, causing a crash in the 3800 block of East FM 518 and then fleeing the area.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION\
Aug. 1, 2:22 a.m.: Kate Harding, 21, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication and three outstanding warrants in the 1600 block of West FM 646.
