League City Police Department blotter, July 31

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents July 29 through the early morning hours of July 31:

ASSAULT
July 31, 4:31 a.m.: Danny Nguyen, 19, was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated assault with other weapon near the intersection of South Gulf Freeway and Beltway 8.

BURGLARY
July 29, 6:20 a.m.: A man reported a generator and tools as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 100 block of Cloudbridge Drive.

July 29, 8 a.m.: A man reported a radar detector as stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1400 block of Louisiana Avenue. Police say a window was broken to gain access.

July 29, 8:08 p.m.: A woman reported a wallet as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in a lot in the 1800 block of East Main Street.

July 30, 6:30 a.m.: A man reported property as stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of West Marina Bay Drive. Police say a window was broken to gain access.

July 30, 5:12 p.m.: A woman reported a purse as stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of East League City Parkway. Police say a credit card from inside the purse was later used to make a fraudulent purchase in the 2200 block of East Main Street.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
July 29, 4:19 p.m.: A woman reported two unknown males threw eggs at a home in the 500 block of Cedar Prairie Drive.

July 29, 4:53 p.m.: A woman reported an unknown person caused damage by spray-painting her home in the 2100 block of Clove Park Drive.

July 30, 1:16 a.m.: John Mize, 46, was arrested on a charge of criminal mischief in the 400 block of Blossomwood Drive. He is accused of breaking the glass on the front door of a couple’s home.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT
July 29, 7:19 p.m.: A woman reported her ex-husband yelled abusive things at her in the 2800 block of East League City Parkway.

July 29, 10:59 p.m.: Paul Burrow, 54, was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct – abuse or threat of a person in the 100 block of Loch Lomond Drive.

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
July 29, 4:15 a.m.: Lauren Gillespie, 19, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence as a minor in the 4400 block of West League City Parkway.

July 30, 4:43 a.m.: Gilbert Hernandez, 18, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence as a minor in the 1700 block of West Main Street.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
July 29, 4:41 p.m.: Roman Esparza, 26, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated – second offense in the 3000 block of South State Highway 3.

July 30, 5 p.m.: Marian Stith, 45, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated – third offense in the 1100 block of Big League Dreams Parkway.

DRUGS
July 30, 4:10 a.m.: Mario Bautista, 28, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Caroline Avenue.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
July 29, 9:24 a.m.: Lisa Haas, 49, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 1100 block of Devereux Drive. 

July 30, 4:43 a.m.: A 17-year-old male was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 1700 block of West Main Street.

RESISTING ARREST
July 29, 7:21 p.m.: Derek Hardy, 18, was arrested on a charge of resisting arrest and on three outstanding warrants in the 500 block of Cedar Pointe Drive.

THEFT
July 29, 12:35 a.m.: A 17-year-old female was arrested on a theft charge in the 3100 block of South Gulf Freeway.

July 30: A man reported a mailbox as stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Second Street.
