Football kickoff luncheon set for Aug. 9
The League City Chamber of Commerce's third annual Kick Off By the Creek pep rally is 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 9, at Education Village, 4830 Village Way, League City.
Kick Off By the Creek serves as the chamber's tribute to the start of the Texas high school football season.
Tickets to the event, which is open to the public, are $15 per person and include a meal.
Honoring both Clear Creek and Dickinson school districts, luncheon attendees will hear music from the schools' marching bands, see spirit from cheerleaders and enjoy inspirational pep talk from each of the coaches.
