'Corks and Canvas' art event to be held in Pearland
The opening reception for the Pearland Arts League’s “Corks & Canvas” will be held Saturday, Aug. 6
The student art exhibit will feature the works of University of Houston-Clear Lake students. Visitors can also enjoy jazz music provided by John Gilmore and Modulation. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served by Allegria Wine and Cocktail Lounge.
The reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and will be held at the Pearland Recreation Center and Natatorium, located at 4141 Bailey Road.
The student art exhibit will remain on display through Saturday, Aug. 27.
