League City Police blotter, July 28

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents July 27 through the early hours of July 28:

BURGLARY
July 27, 9:30 a.m.: A woman reported loose change as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 600 block of Third Street. 

July 27, 10:40 a.m.: A woman reported two GPS units and a bag of coins as stolen from two vehicles parked in the 300 block of Wakefield Drive. Police say there was no sign of forced entry.

July 27, 8:40 p.m.: A man reported a tactical vest and handcuffs as stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of West Main Street. A window was reported broken to gain access.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
July 27: A woman reported an unknown person sprayed black paint on a 6-foot privacy fence on her property in the 500 block of Green Cedar Drive. 

FORGERY
July 27, 6:45 p.m.: A woman living in the 500 block of Birdsong Drive reported she received a forged check from a known person. 

HIT-AND-RUN
July 27, 2:45 p.m.: A woman reported a hit-and-run crash in the 400 block of El Toro Street. The driver of a brown and tan, older-model Ford pick-up truck allegedly hit a mailbox and then fled the area.

July 27, 3:30 p.m.: A man reported a hit-and-run crash in the 1600 block of West FM 646. The driver of a white flatbed truck hauling wooden boards reportedly hit another vehicle and then fled the area. 

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
July 28, 3:37 a.m.: Damaso Rivera, 35, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 2800 block of South Gulf Freeway. 

July 28, 1:17 a.m.: Christopher Trujillo, 20, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 3200 South Gulf Freeway.  

THEFT
July 28, 1:37 a.m.: A couple reported a vehicle as stolen in the 1400 block of West League City Parkway. The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-7, with brown hair and brown eyes.
