League City Police Department blotter, June 29

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents June 28 through the early hours of June 29:

BURGLARY
June 28, 7 a.m.: A woman reported an unknown person used shoe polish to write sexual phrases and draw sexual pictures on a black Chevrolet Silverado parked in the 500 block of Cedar Prairie Drive.

June 28, 9:40 a.m.: A woman reported tools as stolen from a rental property in the 1800 block of Chickadee Drive. Police say graffiti was also found on interior walls of the home.

June 28, 11 a.m.: Four woman reported several items, including purses and wallets, as stolen from four vehicles parked at 24 Hour Fitness, 2765 S. Gulf Freeway. Windows were reportedly broken and locks damaged to gain access.

June 28, 1:10 p.m.: A woman reported a burglary to a storage unit in the back yard of her property in the 1500 block of East Walker Street. Police say there was no sign of forced entry.

June 28: A man reported drills, chargers, bits and parts as stolen out of the bed of a truck covered by a locked camper in the 100 block of Hobbs Road.

June 28, 8:48 p.m.: A woman reported a make-up bag and cash as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 500 block of North Illinois Avenue.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
June 28, 11:35 p.m.: A woman reported a cinder block was thrown through the kitchen window of a home in the 2500 block of Harpers Ferry Drive.

FRAUD
June 28, 10 a.m.: A man living in the 6700 block of River Ridge Lane reported an unknown person used his Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union debit card without permission to make purchases.

THEFT
June 28, 7:05 p.m.: Michele Joseph, 39, was arrested on a charge of felony theft with two or more convictions in the 200 block of South Egret Bay Boulevard.
