League City Police Department blotter, June 30

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents between June 29 and the early hours of June 30:

BURGLARY
June 29: A woman reported a burglary to an unlocked car parked in the 800 block of Clear Creek Avenue. Police say nothing was taken from inside.

June 29: 10 a.m.: A man reported a silver and gold Rolex watch and a Garmin GPS navigation unit as stolen from a boat docked in the 2500 block of South Shore Boulevard.

June 29: A woman reported a cell phone as stolen from a vehicle parked in the attached garage of a home in the 600 block of Orange Grove Street.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
June 29, 6:01 p.m.: A woman reported two teenage males used a slingshot and steel bearing to damage the window of a home in the 2300 block of Kingsway Drive.

DRUGS
June 29, 4:35 p.m.: Christopher Polly, 18, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 2100 block of Pleasant Valley Drive.  James Beck, 18, was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

HIT AND RUN
June 29, 1:58 p.m.: A woman reported a hit-and-run crash in the 2900 block of South Gulf Freeway. An unknown driver reportedly hit an unattended parked vehicle.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
June 29, 9:46 p.m.: Cathy Novosad, 55, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 3200 block of West Marina Bay Drive.

THEFT
June 29: A woman reported $3,300 worth of jewelry as taken without permission from the master bedroom of her home in the 2700 block of West NASA Road. The jewelry was reportedly taken during a softball party for her son.

June 29: A woman reported two bicycles from an area near the city pool in the 400 block of West Walker Street. Police say one of the bicycles was recovered but a blue BMX-style bicycle is still missing.

June 29: A woman reported a Nintendo DSI as taken without permission from a home in the 500 block of Green Cedar Drive.

June 29, 4:33 p.m.: Shannon Price, 20, was arrested on a charge of theft in the 2800 block of South Gulf Freeway.
June 29, 6:01 p.m.: A woman reported a blue Mongoose BMX-style bicycle as stolen from a yard in the 1600 block of Webster Street.

June 29, 7:35 p.m.: A man reported a license plate as stolen from the back of a silver Lincoln Towne Car parked in the 400 block of Scarlet Sage Drive.

June 30, 8 a.m.: A man reported a generator as stolen from a car hauler parked in the 300 block of Dickinson Avenue.
