League City Police Department blotter, June 25

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents June 24 through the early hours of June 25:

ASSAULT
June 24, 10:10 p.m.: A woman reported she was assaulted by her husband in the 2700 block of East FM 518. Police say the suspect left the home before their arrival.

BURGLARY
June 24, 9 a.m.: A man reported a burglary to his vehicle parked in the driveway of a home in the 5500 block of Spring Stone Court.

June 24, 12 p.m.: A woman reported a laptop computer and machete as stolen from an apartment in the 1700 block of West FM 528.

June 24, 11 p.m.: A person reported a burglary to a home in the 1700 block of West Walker Street.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
June 24, 6 a.m.: A man living in the 1900 block of Summer Reef Drive reported an unknown person intentionally littered his yard with toilet paper and chocolate syrup.

DRUGS
June 24, 11:01 a.m.: A 17-year-old male was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 1100 block of West FM 517.

June 24, 11:53 p.m.: Virginia Manett, 40, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 1000 block of West FM 646. Police say she also faces charges of assault – family violence.

FORGERY
June 24, 2:21 p.m.: Aaron Smith, 33, was arrested on a charge of forgery in the 1400 block of West Main Street.

HIT-AND-RUN
June 24, 10:40 p.m.: A man reported a hit-and-run crash in the 2400 block of East Red Adair Circle.

THEFT
June 24: A woman reported a book of blank personal checks was taken without permission from her home in the 3800 block of East FM 518.
