League City Police Department blotter, June 23
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents June 22 through the early hours of June 23:
BURGLARY
June 22: A woman reported credit cards as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 500 block of North Wesley Drive. Police say the cards were later used to make fraudulent purchases.
June 22, 9 a.m.: A woman reported a wedding ring as stolen from a jewelry box inside her apartment in the 2700 block of East FM 518. Police say there was no sign of forced entry.
June 22, 5:10 p.m.: A man reported an unknown male forced his way into the victim's home in the 2900 block of Rippling Brook Lane.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
June 23, 2:50 a.m.: James Denmon, 31, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 2700 block of Kesslers Crossing.
HIT AND RUN
June 22, 7:30 a.m.: A woman reported a hit-and-run crash in the 1200 block of Enterprise Avenue. An unknown person reportedly hit the woman's parked vehicle, causing damage to the bumper, and then fled the area.
June 23, 1:53 a.m.: A man reported a hit-and-run crash in the 2700 block of South Interstate 45.
PUBLIC INTOXICATION
June 22, 11:41 p.m.: Bruce Tatum, 23, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 2400 block of West Marina Bay Drive.
RECKLESS DRIVING
June 22, 12:03 p.m.: Justin Cantu, 21, was arrested on a charge of reckless driving in the 1700 block of East League City Parkway.
THEFT
June 22, 1 p.m.: A man reported two bicycles as stolen from the front yard of a home in the 1600 block of Webster Street.
June 22, 4:21 p.m.: Gerson Solorzano, 25, and Jose Aguilar, 39, were arrested on felony charges of theft of property in the 2300 block of Sonora Drive.
