Wranglerette officers earn recognition at camp
The Friendswood High School Wranglerettes dance and social officers excelled during Crowd Pleasers Officer Camp last week.
The Friendswood High School Wranglerettes received many awards for outstanding performance, which helps dancers strengthen their leadership skills and dance styles.
The home routine performed by the Wranglerettes, under the direction of Kara Baker and Assistant Director Ashley Caterina, earned a Superior Trophy, Outstanding Performance Award, Outstanding Technique Award and Outstanding Choreography Award, as well as qualifying them for the Elite Gold Officer Group designation, placing third overall, according to the press release.
Super Star Dancer competition finalists included team members Alyssa Waller, Emily Cain, Kayla Petersen and Kayla Cox. Alyssa Waller and Kayla Petersen also earned the Super Star Dancer title.
Other achievements by the team include bringing home the Overall Achievement Trophy, Most Outstanding Award, Most Creative Award and Award of Excellence, as well as being voted the Most Admired social officer group.
