UH-Clear Lake art classes to focus on Renaissance

Sign your budding artist up for an eight-week courses designed for children aged 3 through high school.
UH-Clear Lake's Art School for Children and Young Adults runs Jan. 30 April 5, 2010.
The classes are taught once per week at the university's Arbor Building, Room 156 or through extension programs in the Clear Creek, Friendswood, and La Porte Independent School Districts as well as local private schools and home school groups. Times and locations vary.
Elementary aged children will study the Art of the Renaissance through the days of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Raphael and Brunelleschi.
They will study Rome of the Renaissance and the floating city of Venice while creating their own works of art from clay and through drawing and painting.
