Clear Creek Education Foundation selects scholarship winners
The Clear Creek Education Foundation recently announced the recipients of its annual scholarship awards.
The Foundation’s scholarship committee, consisting of Lisa Holbrook, Terri Divine, Dinah Matthews and Joan McKinney, reviewed almost 70 applications during the selection process. The committee awarded scholarships to the following students during each high school's banquet, according to the press release.
The James F. Bay Scholarship was awarded to Kasey Acosta of Clear Brook High School, Meghan Benavides of Clear Creek High School, Danica Becker of Clear Horizons Early College High School and Emily Coughenour of Clear Springs High School.
The Clear Lake Regional Medical Center recipients were Nick Dias of Clear Brook High School, Hayley Gordon of Clear Lake High School, Michael Hoffmann of Clear Lake High School, Xing Wang of Clear Lake High School and Aproteem Choudhury of Clear Springs High School.
The Dooley Family Scholarship was awarded to Alexandra Chotas of Clear View High School and Stephanie Rodriguez of Clear View High School.
The Ray Joseph Hutchinson Scholarship recipients included Rachel Arend of Clear Brook High School, Meagan Benavides of Clear Creek High School and Brian Boettger of Clear Springs High School, while the Bob Neill Scholarship was awarded to Clear Lake High School student Christopher Carrocio.
Clear Brook High School student Olivia Hanson received the Reinhartsen Scholarship, and the Seabrook Police Officers Association scholarship went to Clear Lake High School student Christopher Carrocio.
Clear Creek High School students Christos Patelis and Hayley Krueger were awarded the Weber Scholarship, while Sarah Johnson of Clear Creek High School received the Zrubek Family Scholarship.
