League City Police Department blotter, June 16
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents June 15 through the early morning hours of June 16:
BURGLARY
June 15, 9 a.m.: A man reported a wallet and GPS unit as stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot in the 3800 block of East FM 518.
June 15, 10:36 a.m.: A woman reported a Toshiba laptop as stolen from an apartment in the 900 block of West FM 517. The front door was reportedly forced open to gain access.
June 15, 12:57 p.m.: A person reported a Glock 17 handgun, ammunition and a duffle bag as stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3200 block of South Gulf Freeway. The door was reportedly forced open to gain access.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
June 15, 10 a.m.: A woman reported a rental property in the 1800 block of Chickadee Drive was damaged by former tenants.
FRAUD
June 15, 11:12 p.m.: During a routine traffic stop in the 2800 block of South Gulf Freeway, police learned a woman’s identity had been used fraudulently in the past. As a result, officers say there are several citations, a suspended license and an arrest warrant on her record erroneously.
HIT-AND-RUN
June 16, 3:03 a.m.: A woman reported a hit-and-run crash in the 2800 block of Interstate 45. An unknown driver allegedly hit the right rear quarter panel of the woman’s vehicle while driving south on the freeway. The other driver reportedly fled the area.
THEFT
June 15, 2:01 p.m.: Andrew Carrizales, 30, was arrested on a theft charge at Walmart.
June 15, 4:48 p.m.: Rachel McCracken, 24, was arrested on a theft charge in the 2800 block of South Gulf Freeway.
