City manager, public works director resign in League City
City Manager Marcus Jahns and Public Works Director Rich Oller both resigned at League City's Council meeting Tuesday night.
City spokesperson Kristi Wyatt says the city will issue a statement shortly on the resignations.
"Marcus's resignation is effective August 19, and Rich's is July 11," Wyatt says.
After that, the City Council has the option of appointing interim replacements for both positions, and seeking permanent replacements.
Wyatt would not comment Wednesday morning on why either resigned.
"It wasn't one specific thing, and I don't want to speak for them," she says.
