Meet Shelter Pets of the Week, Briggs and Juliet
Briggs, a Rottweiler-Shepherd mix, and Juliet, a Russian Blue cat, are the Shelter Pets of the Week at the City of Friendswood Animal Control.
At 2, Briggs is a younger guy but has some very good manners. He takes treats gently, eagerly looks to the volunteers for commands and enjoys getting his belly rubbed. He knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. He weighs about 60 pounds and is neutered and up-to-date on his shots.
Brigg's identification number is 9672. His adoption fee is $25. Watch a video of Briggs in action here.
Juliet is a big-eyed, super social 1-year-old cat who loves playing with toys. She gets along with dogs and other cats. She's spayed and up-to-date on shots.
Juliet's identification number is 9634. She's free to take home, since all cats who are 6 months or older currently have waived adoption fees. Watch a video of Juliet playing with her toys here.
To learn more about how to adopt Briggs, Juliet or other pets, call Friendswood Animal Control at 281-996-3300 or stop by the shelter at 1322 Deepwood Drive, next to the Public Works building. Find more information here.
