Garden club displays 'floral interpretations of artwork'

The Nassau Bay Garden Club recently announced the winners of its May 14 Floral Design Contest.
The Nassau Bay Garden Club’s “Floral Interpretations of Artwork” contest winners included Ann Gay, who won Best Overall in Design and Horticulture. Gay was also awarded a blue ribbon for her work, which complemented the piece titled “Magenta,” in the Creativity Class
Ann Davidson won first place for her floral design, which complemented the artwork titled “Pianist,” in the Imagination Class.
In the Expression Class, Joy Edwards was honored for her work, a white cyclamen interpreting the piece titled “Dance of Color and Light.”
