Friendswood seeks utility maintenance worker

The City of Friendswood is accepting applications for a utility maintenance worker in its water and wastewater treatment facilities.

The position involves strenuous physical labor, including basic masonry, using a jackhammer and repairing and clearing sewer lines.

Annual salary is $24,502 to $30,638, depending on qualifications.

Applicants must have a high-school diploma or the equivalent, at least six months of related experience and a valid Texas driver's license. Preference goes to applicants who already have certifications in water and wastewater management.
