Part of I-45 feeder road closed in League City

A portion of Interstate 45's southbound frontage road in League City will be closed for as long as a week.
The part of the road that closed this morning is just south of the old connector to Calder Road, city spokeswoman Kristi Wyatt said. Traffic is being detoured around the connector ramp to the old Calder Road-Brittany Bay Boulevard intersection and then east towards I-45, she said.
Crews are removing an old box culvert and putting in a new one, Wyatt said. The work should take four to seven days, she said.
