League City Police Department blotter, June 2

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents June 1 through the early hours of June 2:

BURGLARY
June 1, 9:39 a.m.: A woman reported the attempted burglary of a home in the 700 block of Dixie Drive. Police say an unknown male attempted to force entry into the house. The suspect is described as a white male, 18 to 22 years old with short blonde hair. He reportedly left the area in a vehicle driven by a white female.

June 1, 5:30 p.m.: A man reported numerous items as stolen from a home in the 3100 block of Colony Drive. An unlocked window was reportedly used to gain access.

HIT AND RUN
June 1: A man reported a hit-and-run crash in the 2200 block of Bay Haven Way. An unknown driver reportedly hit a parked car, causing damage, and then fled the area.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
June 2, 3:16 a.m.: Timothy Dott, 24, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 2100 block of South Interstate 45.

THEFT
June 1, 7 p.m.: A man reported copper tubing as stolen from a home under construction in the 1600 block of Misty Glen Lane.

June 1, 7:44 p.m.: A man living in the 500 block of Orleans Avenue says he sent $2,500 via Western Union for the purchase of a Jeep but never received the vehicle. Police say the man fell victim to a craigslist.com scam.
