League City seeks contractor for firefighter bunker gear
The City of League City is accepting sealed bids until June 10 for protective bunker gear for firefighters.
Up for bid is a contract to provide the city's Fire Department with firefighter suits that protect against blood-borne pathogens.
In awarding a contract, the city will consider purchase price, the reputation and quality of the bidder and bidder's services, the bidder's past relationship with League City, the total long-term cost, and the bidder's impact on the ability of the city to comply with laws governing contracts with underutilized businesses and nonprofit organizations employing people with disabilities.
