League City Police Department blotter, May 29

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents May 27 through the early hours of May 29:
 
ASSAULT
May 29, 1:23 a.m.: Stephen Christopher Freeman, 40, was arrested on charges of assault – family violence and interference with an emergency call in the 1900 block of Frederick Lane.
 
BURGLARY
May 27, 10:30 a.m.: A woman reported damage to the door of her apartment in the 900 block of West FM 517. Police say the damage was created by an unknown person attempting to pry it open.
 
May 27, 7:57 p.m.: Cliff Burdg, 36, was arrested on a charge of burglary of a vehicle in the 100 block of Pecan Drive.
 
May 28, 8 a.m.: A man reported the burglary of a vehicle parked in the 3400 block of Cedar Prairie Drive.
 
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
May 28, 4 a.m.: A woman reported a bag of soil was poured on her driveway in the 4400 block of Chestnut Circle.
 
HARASSMENT
May 28, 3 p.m.: A woman living in the 1700 block of FM 528 reported her ex-husband called and threatened to physically harm her.
 
HIT AND RUN
May 27, 4:43 p.m.: A hit-and-run crash was reported in the 2000 block of Fennigan Lane. Police say a male suspect has been identified.
 
HOMICIDE/SUICIDE
May 27, 7:05 p.m.: A man and his wife were found deceased in a home in the 6700 block of Hidden Colony Lane. Police say it appears the man shot his wife and then himself.
 
INJURY TO A CHILD
May 28, 12:37 p.m.: Two children were reported as injured and a vehicle was reported as damaged during an incident in the 200 block of South Gulf Freeway. Police say a suspect will be charged with injury to a child and reckless driving.
 
THEFT
May 28, 12:59 p.m.: A woman reported a juvenile relative stole $20 in cash and a credit card from her purse in the 2300 block of Carina Court. Police say the suspect is missing from the residence.
