League City Police Department blotter, May 26
The League City Police Department reported the following incidents May 25 through the early hours of May 26:
BURGLARY
May 25: A man reported several tools as stolen from a Dodge van parked in the 200 block of North Gulf Freeway. An unknown person reportedly forced open the driver’s side lock to gain access.
May 25, 1:50 p.m.: A man reported electronics as stolen from two unlocked vehicles parked in a driveway in the 2500 block of Brittany Lakes Drive.
DRUGS
May 26, 1:53 a.m.: Edgar Lira, 22, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana in the 3000 block of West Main Street.
HARASSMENT
May 25: A woman living in the 2300 block of Vega Court reported an unknown person filed a false report with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services in April.
May 25, 1:50 p.m.: A woman living in the 500 block of West FM 646 reported a male threatened her over the phone.
May 25, 7 p.m.: A woman living in the 2900 block of Auburn Creek Lane reported a known male sent her two messages with alarming text via her phone.
THEFT
May 25, 6 a.m.: A man reported an orange and blue Suzuki GSX as stolen in the 1200 block of Enterprise Avenue.
May 25, 3:05 p.m.: William Ford, 21, was arrested on a theft charge in the 3200 block of South Gulf Freeway.
May 25, 4:53 p.m.: Dayna Butcher, 19, was arrested on a theft charge in the 2800 block of South Gulf Freeway.
