Great teachers honored by Clear Creek ISD

The Rotary Clubs of Space Center, Seabrook and League City recently held a luncheon to honor 44 teachers from across Clear Creek ISD.

Barbara Scott, a second-grade teacher at Brookwood Elementary, and Donna Stone, PALS teacher at Clear Brook High School, were selected as the 2011 Elementary Teacher of the Year and 2011 Secondary Teacher of the Year. Both teachers received $1,000 from the Rotary.

Kortney Peterson of Hyde Elementary, Mishelle Azbell of Robinson Elementary, Tom Dinardis of Westbrook Intermediate and Gwen Cash of Clear Creek High School each received $500 for being among the six finalists.
