Seabrook Police Department blotter, May 24
The Seabrook Police Department reported the following incidents May 16 to May 22.
BURGLARY
May 22, 10:29 p.m.: At least one person was arrested after police responded to a report that two men stole a laptop from a residence at Edge Lake Apartments, 3010 NASA Parkway. Seabrook Police called in a K-9 unit from Webster for help in finding the suspects.
DISTURBANCE
May 21, 11:51 p.m.: A man was arrested after police responded to a report of a disturbance at Maribelle's, 3136 NASA Parkway.
DOMESTIC ABUSE
May 21, 12:07 a.m.: A man was arrested on an unspecified charge after police responded to 9-1-1 reports of domestic abuse at La Maison Apartments, 1901 Lakeside Drive.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
May 22, 3:05 p.m.: A person was arrested on an unspecified charge after police responded to a report that an intoxicated person left the Valero Stop-N-Go, 3324 NASA Parkway, and then drove into a parking lot on Pebblebrook Drive.
DRUGS
May 21, 11:07 p.m.: A person was charged with possession of a controlled substance and "turned over to his dad" after police responded to a report of a possible DWI offense near the Valero Stop-N-Go, 3324 NASA Parkway.
FIGHTING
May 16, 7:06 p.m.: At least one person was arrested after a resident at an apartment building in the 2400 block of Repsdorph Road reported that five or six people, men and women, were fist-fighting in a nearby parking lot.
May 21, 2 a.m.: At least four people were arrested after police responded to reports of fighting at Club Classic, 2513 NASA Parkway.
FRAUD
May 17, 1:24 p.m.: A clerk at La Quinta Inn & Suites, 3636 NASA Parkway, reportedly accepted a fake $100 bill as payment during the previous weekend. The bill was recovered and placed into evidence.
May 19, 11:07 a.m.: A resident in the 1400 block of Cook Avenue reported that his bank notified him of charges to a credit card that is no longer active.
SUSPICIOUS PERSON
May 21, 1:54 a.m.: A man was arrested on an unspecified charge after police responded to a report of a suspicious person and found him hanging out by the dumpster behind the Valero Stop-N-Go, 3324 NASA Parkway.
