League City Police Department blotter, May 18

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents May 17 through the early hours of May 18:

BURGLARY
May 17, 8 a.m.: A man reported a GPS, a GPS charger and three cell phone chargers as stolen from an unlocked Jeep Liberty parked in a driveway in the 300 block of Civil Drive between April 21 and April 23.

May 17, 3:58 p.m.: A woman reported a GPS, GPS charger and a cell phone charger as stolen from an unlocked Infiniti FX35 parked in a driveway in the 2200 block of Longspur Lane.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
May 18, 12:02 a.m.: A man reported three tires as cut on a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 200 block of East Wilkins Street.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION
May 17, 10:29 p.m.: Melany James, 49, was arrested on a charge of public intoxication in the 400 block of South SH 3.

THEFT
May 17: A man reported a homeowner living in the 2800 block of Lost Cove Court paid for yard work using a check that was returned due to insufficient funds. The man says he has not yet been paid for the services that he provided.

May 17, 7:14 a.m.: A woman reported a child’s bicycle as stolen from the front yard of a home in the 2100 block of South Savanna Court.

May 17, 5 p.m.: A woman reported a known person stole contents from her purse in the 3000 block of Quill Meadow Drive.
