Profits for officer with Cancer at Double Daves Pizzaworks
For one day, Double Dave’s Pizzaworks will set aside their constant passion for making the best pizza in town in order to help one of the finest members of society, a police officer.
This is not to say that the signature pep’roni rolls, specialty pizzas and handmade items will not be made with its usual meticulous care, it is that they will also be focusing on helping out a League City Police Officer who is suffering through cancer.
Double Dave’s Pizzaworks will be holding a fundraiser to benefit Carl’s Crusaders Foundation by donating 10 percent of the proceeds from the day’s daily sales to the cause on May 24.
Carl Stoddard is a member of the League City Police Department and his long service has brought the public out in support of him and his family.
On February 14th, a large mass was found in Carl's abdominal area. He was sent for a CT scan that Friday and on Saturday, he was told that he had cancer. Carl has cancer throughout his body and has stage four Leiomyosarcoma which is very rare. He has begun treatment but needs help with the medical bills, something Double Dave’s is more than happy to help with.
Double Dave’s Pizzaworks has several locations available to serve you. To check for a location near you, find them on the web at http://www.doubledaves.com/. For more information on Carl, head to https://www.facebook.com/pages/Carls-Crusaders/136246023112324?sk=info.
