Juried art show coming to Arts Alliance

The Arts Alliance at Clear Lake will host the 2011 Summer Juried Show, which is part of its Open Door Series, from June 2 to June 23.

The opening event on June 2 includes a members and artists’ preview from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A reception, an artists’ talk and an awards presentation begins at 6:30 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. Area artists can submit works of all media to The Arts Alliance by May 21. Works will be juried by Lee College art instructor Jenifer Herzberg. Cash prizes will be awarded at her discretion.
