Webster Home Depot blamed for left foot stabbing

A woman is suing after, she says, she was seriously injured while shopping in the garden department of The Home Depot in Webster.

Frances Davis filed a lawsuit on May 12 in the Harris County District Court against Home Depot U.S.A., alleging negligence.

Davis says that on May 15, 2009, she suffered serious injuries to her left foot while shopping at The Home Depot in Webster. According to the brief, sharp, jagged pieces extending from a broken wood pallet, carelessly laid on the floor of the store’s garden department, stabbed her left foot.

Davis is seeking actual damages and court costs. She is being represented in the case by Houston attorney Kevin Hagerty.
