HS baseball playoffs: Friendswood defeats Foster
Friendswood defeated Foster to win their Class 4A Bidistrict playoff series Saturday.
The Mustangs, 13-12-0 overall and 9-3-0 in district play, won the thrilling clincher, 17-6.
Friendswood won the series 2-1--losing game one, 5-5, on Thursday, and winning game two, 2-1, on Friday.
The Falcons finished the season at 17-9-0 overall and 7-5-0 in district play.
