Lakeview Police Department blotter, April 2011
The Lakeview Police Department reported the following incidents during the month of April.
BURGLARY
April 9: The owner of Billy's Donuts, 4014 NASA Parkway, reported that his business had been burglarized by an unknown suspect. An investigation led to the discovery of the suspect and recovery of stolen property, as well as linking the suspect to other commercial burglaries in the area.
April 10: A satellite radio was reported as stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 700 block of Bayview Drive, then found later in a nearby yard. There are no suspects in this case.
April 11: Prescription medications were reported as stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 4100 block of Willow Hill Drive. There are no suspects in this case.
April 15: Items were reported as stolen from the Taylor Lake Village maintenance barn. There are no suspects in this case.
April 15: A set of boat trailer fenders were reported as stolen from the Clear Lake Marine Center, 4141 NASA Parkway. There are no suspects in this case.
April 26: Workers at the Landing Condominiums, 4445 NASA Parkway, reported that unknown suspects had broken into a construction trailer and stolen tools. The case is still under investigation.
CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
April 7: A resident in the 300 block of Crestwood Drive reported that her vehicle was damaged when an unknown suspect poured an unknown substance into her gas tank.
DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
April 2: A man was arrested in the 4400 block of NASA Parkway on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
April 18: A woman was arrested during a traffic stop in the 200 block of Kirby Road on a charge of driving while intoxicated.
FOUND PROPERTY
April 22: A vehicle reported as stolen to the Lakeview Police Department in March was recovered in Nuevo Laredo by Mexican authorities.
FRAUD
April 11: A resident in the 400 block of Willow Vista Road reported that her identifying information had been used to produce and pass counterfeit checks. There are no suspects in this case.
April 20: A resident in the 300 block of Crestwood Drive reported that items had been stolen from her home and that her identifying information had been used to establish credit accounts without her authorization. The case is still under investigation.
THEFT
April 22: A resident in the 200 block of Lakeshore Drive reported the theft of his iPod. There are no suspects in this case.
WARRANTS
April 5: A man was arrested on an outstanding DWI warrant out of the Harris County Sheriff's Office during a traffic stop in the 4400 block of NASA Parkway.
April 6: A man was arrested on an outstanding drug possession warrant out of the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.
