Road closure tonight in League City

The road under the overpass at Interstate 45 and Texas 96 in League City will close tonight at 8 p.m. and not reopen until 5 a.m.
The closure is so construction crews can complete work on the overpass's bridge deck. The project is being done by the Texas Department of Transportation.
The city is encouraging motorists to use alternate routes to avoid the closure and potential traffic delays.
