HS girls softball: Clear Lake falls to Kempner
Clear Lake fell to Kempner in a 2-1 loss in Class 5-A Bi-district high school girls softball playoff action on Friday.
The loss drops Clear Lake to 10-14 overall and 6-7 in district play.
Victoria Brown took the loss.
The win ups Kempner to 23-12 overall and 13-4 in district play.
D.J. Rodriguez picked up the win.
The teams will square off again when Kempner hosts Clear Lake on Saturday at 7 p.m.
