Clear Lake nonprofit earns donation from 'Charity Chat' effort

The Jori Zemel Children's Bone Cancer Foundation (JZCBCF) recently received a $250 donation from Associated Credit Union of Texas for winning its Charity Chat competition.

The Jori Zemel Children's Bone Cancer Foundation (JZCBCF) recently received a $250 donation from Associated Credit Union of Texas for winning its Charity Chat competition.

Charity Chat is an ongoing competition on the Associated Credit Union of Texas Facebook page that gives supporters the chance to nominate and vote for their favorite local nonprofit. The credit union then makes a donation to the winning organization.

The JZFCBCF is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Clear Lake dedicated to educating the public, funding critical research, and providing financial and emotional support to the children and families affected by the multiple types of children's bone cancers.
