League City Police Department blotter, Feb. 24

The League City Police Department reported the following incidents on Feb. 23 and in the early hours of Feb. 24:

BURGLARY
Feb. 23, 5:30 a.m.: A man reported a stereo face as stolen from an unlocked truck parked in the 200 block of Englewood Drive.

Feb. 23, 7:55 a.m.: A woman reported a JVC car radio, GPS navigation system and a CD as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1700 block of FM 528.

Feb. 23, 8 a.m.: A man reported a burglary to his vehicle parked in the 300 block of Lafayette Lane.

Feb. 23, 8:10 a.m.: A man reported a GPS unit and cash as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 500 block of Audubon Street.

Feb. 23: 8:50 a.m.: A man reported a Sony car radio as stolen from a vehicle in the 1700 block of FM 528. A window was reportedly broken to gain access.

Feb. 23, 9 a.m.: A man reported a stereo as stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 1700 block of FM 528.

Feb. 23, noon: A woman reported an attempted burglary to her vehicle parked in the 2500 block of Christopher Avenue.

Feb. 23, 3:30 p.m.: A man reported a Sony PS3, LCD television, laptop computer and diamond rings as stolen from a home in the 1400 block of Louisiana Avenue.

Feb. 23, 7:30 p.m.: A woman reported a purse as stolen from a vehicle parked in the 1200 block of East League City Parkway. A rear window was reportedly shattered to gain access.

Feb. 23, 7:45 p.m.: Joshua Fontenot, 21, was arrested on charges of burglary of a habitation – forcible entry and robbery with a firearm in the 5700 block of Woodrow.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF
Feb. 23, 11:05 a.m.: Sidney Phifer, 22, was arrested on a charge of criminal mischief in the 500 block of West Walker Street.

Feb. 23, 2 p.m.: A woman living in the 300 block of Leafwood Circle reported a known person turned off her water, at the meter, without her permission.

DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED
Feb. 23, 4:08 p.m.: Terry Powell, 43, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated – second offense in the 1400 block of West League City Parkway.

Feb. 24, 3:44 a.m.: Guadalupe Serna, 23, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 100 block of Hobbs Road.

DRUGS
Feb. 23, 4:08 p.m.: Ignacio Hernandez, 34, and Henry Harris, 27, were arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance in the 1400 block of West Main Street.

Feb. 23, 11 p.m.: Terry Powell, 43, was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance in the 500 block of West Walker Street.
