HS girls soccer: Clear Springs shuts out Pearland
Clear Springs registered a 2-0 win over Pearland in District 24-5A high school girls soccer action on Friday.
Goaltender Jordan Oliver was perfect in net, leading the Chargers over the Oilers.
The win ups Clear Springs to 9-4-4 on the season and 4-1-2 in district play.
Shelby McDaniel and Michaela Menacci both scored goals in the win.
Clear Springs will next visit Alvin on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Pearland to 1-8-2 overall and 0-3-1 in district play.
Pearland will next host Clear Lake on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
