Crafts, insects and history covered in March at Freeman library branch
A local library has posted its calendar of events for March.
The Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library has scheduled an “Adults Crafts to Go” program for March. This project, supported by the Friends of Freeman, will honor the 175th birthday of Texas by making Lone Star lapel pins. Participants can pick up materials for this craft at the second floor information desk.
Master Gardener Donya Camp will be discussing the impact of insects, good and bad, on gardens. This program will start at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 11, in the library’s community room.
Galveston County Museum Director Jodi Wright-Gidley will present an overview of the Galveston County Museum Collection beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 4, in the library’s community room.
