HS girls softball: Deer Park gets by Clear Brook
Deer Park narrowly got by Clear Brook 5-4 in high school girls softball action on Tuesday.
Caitlin Plochek struck out three on her way to the win.
The win ups Deer Park to 6-0 on the season.
Deer Park will next visit Fort Bend Clements on Thursday at 4 p.m., at the Pasadena ISD Classic.
The loss drops Clear Brook to 1-2 on the season.
Laura Napoli took the loss for the Wolverines.
Clear Brook will next visit Santa Fe on Thursday at 11 a.m., as part of the CCISD Tournament.
