HS girls soccer: Clear Lake shuts out Clear Creek
Clear Lake registered a 6-0 shutout win over Clear Creek in District 24-5A high school girls soccer action on Tuesday.
Brittney Wade scored three goals and goalie Brooke Bourbonais was perfect in net to lead Clear Lake to victory.
The win ups Clear Lake to 12-2-2 overall and 7-0-0 in district play.
Victoria Sample, Rachel Smith and Jillian Lutz each contributed a goal in the win.
Clear Lake next hosts Brazoswood on Friday at 7 p.m.
The loss drops Clear Creek to 3-5-3 overall and 0-4-1 in district play.
Clear Creek will next visit Dickinson on Saturday at noon.
