FBI searching for gunman in Clear Lake bank robbery
FBI agents are searching for the gunman who robbed a southeast Houston bank Tuesday.
The robber pulled out a pistol and demanded money about 1:30 a.m. after he approached a teller at the Spirit of Texas Bank, 1010 Bay Area Blvd., authorities said.
He left the bank after the teller handed over cash and was seen getting into a dark-colored, possibly four-door car, FBI officials said.
No injuries were reported.
Witnesses described the robber as a 35- to 40-year-old stocky man. He is about 6-feet and wore glasses during the holdup.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
